Picture doesn’t do a great job showing it but this was a battery core turned in a few days ago when the ambient was -15F. Both sides expanded out about 2 inches and the plastic showed white stress marks at the top. Keep your batteries charged and warm y’all.

Rear spring off of a 2015 Honda Civic. It actually didn’t fall out of the car while driving because it was wedged up against each other by the cars weight.

Our best guess was temperature fluctuation, technician went to install a battery under the backseat then heard a loud bang next thing he knows the glass is all over the inside of the car. Just another day in the shop explain that one to the customer on their 2015 GMC Acadia…

These injectors have one hold down bolt that’s m6x1, no oring on the injector body either. Over time they start to leak exhaust gasses and carbon will start to build up around them.

There’s a TSB about it... !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . No recall, and I don’t think they will ever have one because it’s a bad design that can’t be fixed. I believe the 2018 models got rid of that transmission.

ONE BELT ENTERS FIVE BELTS LEAVE

crying (well tbh I’m crying for all of them, for different reasons, occasionally emitting screams of horror)

I feel genuinely bad for the tech who had to put that axle back together to move to a different lift.

Me too.

Fun fact: you have to pull the axle-shafts on these Transits in order to remove the rear brake rotors. Technically not inboard brakes, but still...

Re the laced tires: The America’s Tire I worked at would fill a section of the store with used tires that would normally fit four full-sized lifts. I’m pretty sure each time they came to pick them up it would fit a full sized semi. I never want that job.
